How can we help?

For app help, email [email protected]. Include what you were trying to do and what happened, but never send passwords, payment details, private health information, or your pairing code.

Contact Postpartum Hero

Email [email protected]. Postpartum Hero is made and supported by an independent developer, so replies come from a person rather than a call center.

Helpful details include your iOS version, app version, the screen you were using, and the exact wording of any error. A screenshot is welcome after you remove personal details.

Pairing help

  1. The recovering parent creates the shared Space and sends an invite to one supporter.
  2. The supporter opens the invite or chooses Already have a pairing code? during setup.
  3. Enter the code exactly as shown. If it is rejected or expired, ask the Space owner to create and share a fresh invite.

Pairing codes grant access to a private shared Space. Do not post one publicly or include it in a support email.

Notification troubleshooting

  • Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → Postpartum Hero and confirm notifications are allowed.
  • In Postpartum Hero settings, review Quiet Hours. Standard alerts wait until the quiet window ends; a request flagged as high priority is designed to come through. This flag is for household coordination, not medical urgency, and delivery or attention cannot be guaranteed.
  • Confirm both people still have internet access and are signed into the correct shared Space.
  • If an alert is delayed, open the app to refresh the latest shared activity before contacting support.

Subscription and purchase help

One active subscription covers both people in a paired Space. Browsing is available without a subscription; check-ins, sending care, and tasks require access.

  • Use Restore Purchases in the app if you already subscribed with your Apple Account.
  • Use Manage subscription in the app or Apple’s subscription settings to change or cancel billing.
  • Deleting a Postpartum Hero account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage the subscription with Apple first.

Apple processes App Store billing. See Apple billing and subscriptions support for charges, refunds, or purchase-history questions.

Privacy, shared data, and account deletion

Your moods, notes, requests, and tasks are intended for the two people in your shared Space. Review the Privacy Policy for the complete data description.

You can start account deletion inside the app from Settings. The confirmation screen explains what happens to your account, the paired member, shared history, and any Apple subscription before deletion is completed. If you cannot access the app, email support from the address associated with your account.

Not medical or emergency support

Postpartum Hero provides household-coordination support, not medical advice. Postpartum Hero and its team are not doctors, healthcare providers, or healthcare workers. The product does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or assess medical conditions and is not a substitute for professional care. Do not use an app request or support email for health concerns or emergencies. Contact a qualified health professional, or local emergency services in an emergency.
